Hey everyone, can’t wait to see all of your pitches tonight! Here are some housekeeping items for the weekend:

What to bring?

• You’re going to want to bring your laptop, it’ll be a huge help.
• If you have a 3G or 4G modem / hotspot bring it. Sometimes it’s helpful having your own bandwidth.
• If you have any extension cords or power strips we can always use more
• An idea or two to pitch!
• Lots of energy.

Event Schedule

Friday

• 6:00pm – Registration starts
• 7:00pm – Welcome & Speakers (Paul Hontz from The Startup Foundry)
• 8:00pm – Pitches Start
• 8:45pm – Attendees vote for the top ideas
• 9:15pm – Teams start forming and discussing ideas
• 10:00pm – Start to formalize teams and take an inventory of skills. Be honest, and direct about what resources and skills are needed for the weekend. You may stay and work as late as the venue will allow.

Saturday

• 9:00am – Arrive, simple breakfast & coffee
• 9:30am – Teams formed and setting up workspace for the weekend
• 12:00pm – Lunch
• 1:00pm – Call for needs & skills
• 6:30pm – Dinner
• 7:30pm – Mid weekend check-in, status reports, call for help
• 9:00pm – Finished for the day.
• 9:00pm – Head out to a bar in order to get to know people outside your team

Sunday

• 9:00am – Arrive, simple breakfast & coffee
• 12:00pm – Lunch
• 3:00pm – Start prepping for presentations
• 4:00pm – Dinner
• 5:00pm – FINAL PRESENTATIONS
• 7:30pm – Judging & awards
• 8:30pm – Wrapup
• 9:00pm – Go home!

Parking

When you turn right on Edwards off of E. Michigan it’s the 2nd lot on the left. I’ve included a picture with super high tech arrows below. The green arrow is the venue and the red boxes are the lots you can park in. If you get lost or can’t find where to park call me at (248) 805 -1293.
